A pro-life group believes a Catholic hospital in Colorado may be performing abortions.

Catholic Health Initiatives is the Colorado hospital chain that made headlines recently when its lawyers argued in a lawsuit that an unborn child is not a human being — an argument the hospital has since acknowledged as “morally wrong.”

But Jennifer Mason with Personhood Colorado says her group has received word on another case.

“We were contacted by a woman who had suffered a miscarriage and gone into a Catholic Health Initiatives hospital for treatment — and instead of being billed for the miscarriage, she was billed for an elective abortion, which she says she did not receive,” she explains.

Mason believes that raises an important question: Why is the hospital billing for an abortion when it claims it does not do them?
