Some time ago we informed our readers about an attempt by the taxpayer-funded EU “Fundamental Rights Agency” to push the LGBT agenda through a grotesquely manipulated opinion poll. The apparent purpose of that poll, which, albeit carried out bu the renowned Gallup Institute, failed to meet even the most basic scientific standards for such surveys, was to provide credibility to the assertion that gays and lesbians are the victims of “discrimination”.

The use of manipulated opinion polls is an old strategy to manipulate public opinion. The trick is very simple: you tell gullible people that “everybody thinks X”, and they will start asking themselves whether they, too, should think X. It is in the human nature to swim in the mainstream.

The “European Youth Parliament” (EYP), a youth forum funded with taxpayer’s money by the European Commission, has now followed the example set by the grown-ups. They sent around an e-mail saying the following (the syntax and spelling errors are theirs, not mine):
